Brie & Caramelized Apple Tart Pizza
INGREDIENTS
168g/6oz alouette Crème de Brie
567g/20oz 14″ Pizza dough
2 Granny Smith Apples
56g/2oz Butter
56g/2oz Sugar
1/2 tsp. Cardamom
15g/1 Tbsp. Turbinado sugar
Peal and remove core from apples, cut each apple in half
Heat 2 oz. of sugar to soft ball stage over high heat, add the apple halves and caramelize until almost tender, remove from heat, add butter to pan, let cool to touch
Pre heat oven to 500°F
Shape dough into desired dimensions (about 14 inch)
Spread apple butter evenly over shaped Pizza dough
Spread alouette Crème De Brie over prepared dough , dust with cardamom
Remove apples from pan and cut into sections and arrange on pizza
Sprinkle Turbinado sugar over apples
Bake at 500 °F for 12-14 minutes
Let rest 5-8 minutes before cutting into sections and serving
